The exhibition ground can be reached within 20 minutes by taxi or by intercity, regional, or rapid transit trains, all of which stop directly at the Cologne Exhibition Centre: Köln Messe/Deutz station.

Ten motorways end at the motorway ring around Cologne. This motorway leads directly to the exhibition grounds without any junctions or traffic lights. Follow the green signs of the Koelnmesse on the motorways and highways.

by Train
In cooperation with the Deutsche Bahn, the Koelnmesse offers specially priced train tickets nationwide. Thanks to its central location the Cologne Exhibition Centre is easy to reach with the Deutsche Bahn (German rail network) from many German and foreign cities – and there is a direct intercity connection to the Cologne Exhibition Centre station: Köln Messe/Deutz. Shuttle buses run from the station to the exhibition grounds every 15 minutes.

You can additionally reach the Cologne Exhibition Centre conveniently using the good infrastructure of the public transport network. All important city destinations can be reached within a maximum of 10 minutes using public transport.

Cologne's downtown area has been declared an "environmental zone". This means that only vehicles displaying one of the stickers for emissions groups 2 to 4 are allowed to enter the downtown are (www.stadt-koeln.de).
However, the Cologne Exhibition Centre will remain accessible for all types of vehicles, even if they do not bear one of the aforementioned stickers. Please click here for further information.
