The BVDW is the organisation that represents the interests of companies in the field of interactive marketing, digital content and interactive added value.

The BVDW has an interdisciplinary foundation, and thus has an holistic overview of the issues facing the digital economy. It has taken on the task of making the efficiency and the benefits of digital media transparent, and thus promoting their deployment in the economy as a whole, within the society, and in the administration sector.

The BVDW is engaged in continuous dialogue with politicians, the media and other interest groups, and supports the dynamic development of the sector in a results-oriented, practical and effective way.

The OVK (Online-Vermarkterkreis or Circle of Online Marketers) is the central body of online marketers in Germany. Twenty-one of the largest German online marketers have come together under the umbrella of the BVDW (Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V./German Association for the Digital Economy) to steadily raise the profile of online advertising. The circle's primary aims are to increase market transparency and planning reliability as well as the standardisation and quality assurance measures for the industry as a whole.

The Online Research Working Group (AGOF) is an alliance of the leading online marketers in Germany, the group's objective is to make advertising on the web transparent – particularly for the direct target groups such as advertising companies and advertising agencies. The AGOF helps to reinforce the theme areas research and online media planning. With the aid of their standardised online coverage currency and comprehensive data on online usage, the AGOF turns the Internet into a transparent and plannable means of advertising.

The Art Directors Club is the premier organization for integrated media and the first international creative collective of its kind. Founded in New York in 1920, ADC is a self-funding, not-for-profit membership organization whose mission is to connect, provoke and elevate creative visual communications professionals around the world. It focuses on the highest standards of excellence and integrity in visual communications for the industry, and encourages students and young professionals entering the field. ADC provides a forum for creatives in Advertising, Design, Interactive Media and Communications to explore the direction of these rapidly converging industries.

The Art Directors Club für Deutschland (ADC) e. V. is an association of leading creative individuals in the genres of advertising, text, image, design, editorial, photography, illustration, radio, film, interactive media and spatial staging. Patterned after a similar club in the USA, the Art Directors Club was founded in Düsseldorf in 1964. It relocated its headquarters to Berlin in 2001. The goals of the ADC are to improve creative services in Germany and thus to set new standards for commercial creation, communication and marketing. To accomplish these goals, the ADC organizes competitions, encourages the continuing education of young creative talent by offering a broad spectrum of training opportunities and publications, and fosters the exchange of know-how among creators and businesses through seminars, congresses and lectures. The name “ADC” stands for exclusivity and high standards.

The leading communications agencies of the branch are members of the German Association of Communications Agencies (GWA). It is the spokesman for the agency branch vis-à-vis the business, political and public circles and elucidates the function of business communications, advertising and agencies in the market economy, both on a national and international basis. The core themes of the GWA's supportive measures at the dmexco include the versatile creativity of digital media as well as its integration into the holistic communication.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Europe is the industry association of the digital and interactive advertising marketers on a national and European level. Their tasks include the promotion and improved perception of the European online advertising market. The IAB represents over 5,000 members in 23 member countries, among others all of the major media companies, agencies, technology and service providers. Because of its international alignment the dmexco is the perfect branch platform for the IAB Europe, enabling it to further increase the dynamics of the positive development of the European online advertising market with the aid of surveys and the development of standards.

The German Advertisers Association (OWM) is an association for advertising companies in Germany. It represents the interests of its approx. 100 member companies in all areas of marketing communications vis-à-vis the media, agencies and regarding political and media research issues. In total the association's member companies invest over 7.5 billion Euros annually in communications and advertising.

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) is an action-oriented association designed to clear obstacles to market development, to establish guidelines and best practices for sustainable growth, and to evangelize the mobile channel for use by brands and third party content providers. MMA members include agencies, advertisers, hand held device manufacturers, wireless operators and service providers, retailers, software and services providers, as well as any company focused on the potential of marketing via the mobile channel.
